Surrounding Area and Getting Here

Location & Surrounding Area

Setting

In a wider context, Ardgour House is situated in one of the most attractive parts on the West Coast of Scotland, famed far and wide for its mountain scenery and coastal landscapes.  Approximately a mile to the west of Corran Ferry, it is within twenty minutes drive of Fort William, the principal town in the area, and approximately two hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh.  Communications are therefore good, but privacy remains unaffected with the House set within a traditional blend of wooded policies and parkland

Substantially upgraded to cope with modern living, Ardgour House stands amidst six acres of private garden grounds and has superb views of mountains, fields and forest.  It is approached by a tarmac drive, which winds through mature trees and parkland for approximately two thirds of a mile, to arrive at the south facing wide gravelled driveway in front of the House.
